Ken Lim, a 60-year-old music producer and former Singapore Idol judge, has denied allegations of molestation in his ongoing trial. He argued that his long-standing success in the entertainment industry contradicts the accusations against him. Lim testified that he attempted to reenact the alleged act described by the accuser and found it “awkward to impossible” to perform. He also claimed that the woman’s account was a fabrication, twisting his words.
Lim, who owns Hype Records, is facing multiple sex-related charges involving four women. He has already been acquitted of a previous charge related to inappropriate comments made in 2012. His current case is the second of five trials, with most charges involving alleged sexual remarks.
